5G To Arrive in IoT Infrastructure by Late 2020

Many speculations have been made about the exact arrival of 5G, the new standard for internet transmission speed. However, the reputable Swedish IoT/M2M market research firm, Berg Insight, has authentically disclosed in their report on “5G for IoT” that IoT/M2M firms must have to wait until late 2020 before they can benefit from 5G for running IoT/M2M processes. While IoT application developers might be able to start creating apps/protocols to suit the new internet standard by the late 2019’s, they will only be able to fully utilize 5G standards in an IoT ecosystem by the end of 2020.
